Sunday in the park with George...

WOW, what an enchanting show!

Everything including the cast, effects, music and story was magical. Jenna was absolutely amazing and stole the show. We especially loved her rendition of 'Sunday in the park with George'. We were also moved by 'We dont belong together' performed by Jenna and Daniel Evans, it was so heartbreaking but truely fantastic!

This was totally different to Guys&Dolls but equally as fascinating. Jenna has a unique ability to draw the audience into the performance and make you both laugh & cry along with her character. She was also so amazing with her adorable portrayal of Marie the old lady, 'Children and art' is such a beautiful song "You would have liked him, Mama you would" .. So cute!

So to sum it up she was phenomenal!

We so recommend that you all go and see this, you wont be disappointed!

Guys and Dolls...

One word to sum this up would have to be AMAZING!!

If we're totally honest one of the only reasons we initinally booked tickets to see this show was for the simple reason that Nigel Harman was starring in it as we've always liked him. He didnt dissapoint us  he was absolutely fantastic and we never would have thought he could sing like he did, a true star and we hope we'll get to see him in many more musicals in the future.

The highlight of the show for us though had to be Jenna Russell we were in total awe of her as she portrayed the character of Sarah Brown so beautifully. She had us in both fits of laughter during her hilarious drunk havana scenes and moved to tears with her breathtaking rendition of 'Never been in love before'. Jenna is megatalented and we can't wait to go and see her in Sunday in the park with George.  Watch this space for the review though we're sure we'll be blown away once again!
